Perhaps these types super Jupiters produce so much extra heat that they allow surrounding moons to have liquid water.

They are getting better at detecting Earth size worlds using the Kepler telescope that is in orbit. All they need to look for that "wobble" and the planet is the "goldilocks" zone where life is supposed to take place.
