I do not have any health issues, what so ever. I have social issues and sensory issues and that's about it.

Don't be angry. NTs' vocabularies are not as broad as ours, they lump everything having to do with physical and mental development into the category of "health."

(Just like I realized the other day that the reason I'm called a "creep" is because NTs simply don't have another word for someone who's different than they are.)

I love her now. She's not freaking out and abandoning her son. She is going out of her way to understand him and BEING A MOTHER!

Hi, I'm new here and unsure whether or not I have Asperger's, but my 10 yr. old son has mild autism. So excuse me if I'm not being "politically correct" for this forum (and please don't flame me!), but it seems that many autistic kids have health problems. I've heard of poor immunity (my son used to get sick all the time) and digestive problems. Is this supposedly true of Auties, but not of Aspies?

OK, you can educate me now!

Well, bodily sickness isn't one of the criteria for Autism/AS, however, due to our curious nature, we can often do things that make us feel sick, like eating dirt and worms or running outside in the rain.

I never actually get sick often at all! My sister's gotten sick 5 times as much as I have!
