Co-relation does not equal causation.

Still of very little comfort to me because I have had PCOD since late teenage and also struggled with my weight (although never obese until fairly recently). My son has LFA and my daughter is currently also being evaluated for autism. I have a few traits myself, but am NT.

There was quite a furor on a mothers' forum a little while ago, as some of them had heard that Clomid -- also a "favourite" Rx of gynecologists for patients with PCOD -- leads to a greater chance of a child with autism. Again, a classic cum hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy, but these were some very angry mothers. As a former Clomid user myself, I empathized.

FOL. :(

Maybe, but so far I have to file this with the other "autism cause" theories of the week.
