What do you guys think of this?

I don't blame whoever leaked it. I'm glad when an abuser is exposed as an abuser. I wish I could have recorded just one of my dad's rants to me-- he spoke to me like this frequently for the first 12 years of my life. He has softened up now and tries hard to be nice, but there are some things in life you can't exactly repair. I think it's ridiculous that baldwin is trying to blame whoever leaked this... I hope his daughter never has to see him again if that's her wish.

wow...for a "successful" person...this guy has his ego awfully wrapped up in his daugher's phone schedule...

think of the hundreds of thousands and more relationships where this is going on and the parents are not celebrities. At least this can stop this from happening between Ireland and Alec, but this type of abuse will just go on and on with all the others that have to take it, cause they can't stop it.

I don't get it where he said he mad a fool of himself (or whatever he said) to get to a phone. Wouldn't you think a celebrity would carry a cellphone like other people do?

Is his daughter autistic? She had no expression on her face in the picture where she was older.

Is the picture somewhere online? It doesn't say anywhere that she's autistic. Don't NT's ever not have expressions on their faces when they have their picture taken?

I''m sure he meant that he made a fool of himself to get the time to make the phone call (probably he was on the set of the Letterman show at the time or supposed to be going on air or something.) He's 49 years old and comes from a day when there weren't cell phones, and he's probably fallen back into an older expression.

Yeah there was two pictures of her on the link the first person posted. I guess it was her at least with mother. I don't really follow Hollywood celebrities too much. But I assumed it was her. And yes NTs always seem to have some emotion on their face.

I always thought of Alec Baldwin as a jerk.

I don't follow celebrity gossip either, but I saw this posted on another board and followed the link on a whim. It really hit home for me because my dad was very verbally abusive, just like that voicemail.

I have always felt the same way this just proves my point.

I thought Alec Baldwin was an idiot before, but now he's an even bigger idiot. What a miserable individual!

I just made that up because I had no stock expressions for this.

I always thought he had that mean look about him.

The news today said he made the now infamous phonecall while he was on a date with his girlfriend. If he'd honored his marriage vows and stayed with his child's mother this never would have happened. No doubt the daughter feels hurt. Kids always feel hurt when their parents divorce. Was he angry because he had a court ordered phone call and he took it out on the daughter because he could care less about the life he created and put in this world? Jerk! I think we should ban all his movies. Course I can't remember the last one I saw with him in it. He's not a good actor and he's ugly too.

I once saw a commercial about child abuse, where they show this woman ranting at her child like Alec Baldwin was, and then a guy's voice comes on and says something like, "Before you speak to you're child, take a minute and imagine that you can hear what your child is about to hear," or something similar. The point was, very simple; think before you speak. Or should I say shriek?
