The odds were against Sanders from the get go. The primaries have voter suppression built right into them. Then of course there are the undemocratic establishment super delegates that hold all the cards at the end. Hillary will win the nomination but it won't be a fair and square win.
Even with all the odds against him Sanders ran one hell of a race. The revolution, not started by Bernie rather ignited by him, will live on beyond his campaign.
There is no voter supression in primary season.
Half the states are open primaries where anyone can vote for either party regardless party registration.
The other half are closed or caucus states, where most require registration two months in advance to take part in them.
A few do same day registration.
It's just most voters don't pay attention to the rules regarding primaries in most states and tend to ignore primary season and mid terms.
Sanders has been fighting with the Democrats since he was first elected to Congress.
We have articles from the 1990s with Bernie hating on the Democrats exclusively while being nice to the GOP.
Now that Democratic race is over, Sanders supporters will transfer their support to Trump as promised if Hillary won the race.
