Bahamas issues travel advisory to citizens travelling to US, young males asked to exercise extreme caution

More and more, the US is taking on the characteristics of a failed state. True, this is only the Bahamas that is issuing the travel warning of the sort usually targeting pariah states, but you can count on it that people in many other countries will take their tourism money somewhere other than the US.

That's right. Fear our bigoted police force. Once tourism stops, the government might actually be moved to do something in order to gain back the trust of other nations for tourist money.

That advisory lacks statements like this:

Quote:
Do not get involved in political or other demonstrations under any circumstances and avoid crowds.

I've seen these kinds of statements in travel advisories issued by the U.S. State Department; they're usually for countries with significant unrest or political suppression.

The advisory was specifically given to the black males visiting the southern states.
