It won’t end anti-semitism, on college campuses or anywhere else. Trump is just pandering to the Jewish voters.
By the way, to be against anti-semitism does not necessarily mean being Zionist. To be anti-Semitic means only to have and/or express hostility to, prejudice toward, or discrimination against Jews.

Seems like anyone who dares to critisize Israel for the Palestiniens (including me) gets labelled as being anti-semitic...

I think we're generally aware of this. But what you're missing is that what is interpreted as anti-Semitism on the left is really the fight against the right-wing Israeli government's mistreatment of Palestinians. Trump's executive order's purpose is really to muddy the waters in the distinction between Jewish and Israeli, so that efforts to fight for relief for the Palestinians can be labelled anti-Semitic and be dealt with.

I do not think this executive order is signed in good faith, especially where a few days ago Trump played to anti-Semitic tropes in his speech before a conservative Jewish group, talking about how they care so much about money and he will protect their money from taxes, as well as talking about how all the Jews are (or should be) loyal to Israel:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2 ... ic-claims/
I don't buy for a second that anti-Semitism is widespread on college campuses in America, and what Trump is doing is making it easier for colleges and other authorities to label the efforts to seek relief for the Palestinians as anti-Semitic. Israel has been mistreating the Palestinians for decades, and continues to do so today, as documented by the Human Rights Watch:
https://www.hrw.org/middle-east/n-afric ... /palestine
I think this effort to promote the idea of anti-Semitism on the left has the effect of distracting from some other very real issues that have been ignored way too often, for one as mentioned above the Palestinian issue. But also other things, such as the right-wing Israeli government getting in on the money in politics in the US, which other wealthy donors, big corporations, the NRA, various other governments, and other groups have also being getting in on. It's a way to label the effort to get all money out of politics as nothing more than veiled anti-Semitism so the movement can be dismissed and disregarded, despite the fact that getting money out of politics is extremely popular with the American people:
https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2 ... influence/
In addition, it also ignores the American right's complicity with the human rights violations against Palestinians, which are based to a large extent on eschatological concerns--that is, end times beliefs. That end times beliefs play a huge role in the right's enabling of the right-wing Israeli government's mistreatment of the Palestinians is not discussed and looked at nearly enough. Here are some easy-to-miss news reports, as well as one website, on the issue:
https://www.cnn.com/2017/12/08/opinions ... index.html
https://www1.cbn.com/israels-role-end-times
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/pol ... -prophecy/
Israel is basically being treated as a pawn in American Christian conservatives' efforts to fulfill Christian prophecies and this is a big reason why they enable violations of Palestinian human rights, but we don't really discuss that very much. Instead, everybody is focusing on the supposed veiled anti-Semitism of those fighting for the Palestinians, which is a red herring.

Trump's expectation that Jews must be loyal to a foreign country is a worse version of the long standing Jewish dual loyalty trope.
