British Gas not renewed contract with paypoint for prepay...

Personally I think this is just typical that a big energy company would ignore the needs of thousands of their customers.

Pre pay customers will still be able to use payzone but this could mean they may have to travel further a field in order to top up their gas and electric.

My advice to BG customers would be to switch companies so you can still use the paypoint.

I am not sure what PayPoint is so I looked it up:

PayPoint plc is a British business offering a system for paying bills in United Kingdom, Ireland and Romania.

In the States, one can prepay their bills either by having the bill paid automatically through the credit card companies or though your bank's checking/savings accounts.
