Zero guaranteed hours employment contracts plus cuts to housing benefits left a significant number of people vulnerable to predatory property-owning perverts, I expect it’s becoming more prevalent due to CV lockdown measures: haven’t seen anything in that issue specifically, but I know that deaths as a result of domestic violence have doubled since lockdown... indicator that it’s enhancing vulnerability.
It's likely been going on here for a while too, just not as prevalent, maybe more too in the 08' recession.
It seems like a risk though with lower income apartments having more drugs and people having HIV from IV drugs,I guess landlords use protection though.
