Smart lady, Plastic has the property to resist degradation for thousands of years.

I'm surprised this isn't getting more publicity?

It depends where you live. Even the toughest PVC plastics they make windows out of turn to dust here after around 40 years and other plastics will break down in less then half that time. We had a rubber tyre turn to dust that was 40 years old. We are in an area that gets lots of salty mists.

Actually, thinking about it, waste plastic and rubber etc. If one could replicate the enviroment here (Salty damp enviroment) and one has the ideal enviroment for dissolving waste plastics and rubber etc.

Is it possible to take waste plastic and bind it with more durable material?
