I'm not one, tho I do admire others who do, dependent on the cause, of course.

This is something I relate to very much, with all the painful Polish history.
You probably won't understand, though.
But through this kind of sacrifices, we've survived as a nation.
They're heroes.

Though I do not speak their language, and have never been anywhere near the nation of the Ukraine, I am inspired by their sacrifice. TBH, I would probably do the same if I were in their shoes. I'd rather die than let my nation fall to the expansionist regime of Satan incarnate. Thankfully it hasn't come to that, and I am especially glad I live in North America. Still, my heart goes out to the Ukraine.

There was a better example of actual heroism reported earlier. An army engineer perished while exploding a bridge to slow down incoming opponents to let his comrades get into a defensive position.
