Quote:
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released a purported letter from President Trump that appeared in a book put together for Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday. The letter is written in the hand-drawn outline of a naked woman, with Trump's name signed where there would be pubic hair, NBC News reports. The text is an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein that concludes, "A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday—and may every day be another wonderful secret."

"We got Trump's birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein that the President said doesn't exist," House Democrats said in a post on X, sharing an image of the letter. "Trump talks about a 'wonderful secret' the two of them shared. What is he hiding? Release the files!"

Trump has insisted the letter is fake. The president sued the Wall Street Journal for $10 billion after it reported on the letter in July, saying it was one of dozens that Ghislaine Maxwell collected from Epstein's family and friends for the birthday book in 2003. The AP reports that in a post on X after the letter was released, White House deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich shared images of Trump's signature and said it was time for News Corp, the Journal's parent company, "to open that checkbook, it's not his signature. DEFAMATION!"

Last month, the House Oversight Committee subpoenaed Epstein's estate, seeking any client lists the sex offender may have had and the leather-bound birthday book, among other items. A committee aide tells NBC that the estate has turned over entries from his address/contact books from 1990 through 2019, along with his will and the 2007 non-prosecution agreement between the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida and Epstein. "Committee staff will review these documents and make them public in the near future," the aide says.

Waking up every morning and this man is president is revolting to me on a level that I can not even describe.

What I find revolting is the number of people in this country still supporting him, and the way the rest of the world has been quick to turn their collective backs on all Americans because they ignore the fact that a good portion of us really hate him too but they are quick to say s**t like "Those yanks DESERVE a dictator like Trump!"

This is precisely why I'm a misanthrope with no faith in humanity.

It's not surprising that the White House is still accusing the press of making the
Epstein Birthday Letter as part of an elaborate hoax against Trump, therefore Trump calling The Epstein List
the "Epstein Hoax."

Trump is squealing like a stuck pig. This suggests it is an enormous sore point for him. I wonder why?

Fairness has nothing to do with it. Collective guilt is not fair but normal. During WWII did the Allies refrain from leveling German and Japanese cities because a lot of those we killed probably opposed Tojo and Hitler?

Do you expect Canadians to not boycott us after we tarriff them and keep on threatening to make them our 51st state because it hurts Americans that voted against Trump?

Trump just crystallized feelings against Americans that have building up for a long time. All to often American tourists come over to their countries and instead of being grateful they were granted the privilege of visiting their countries act all entitled.

I usually do not feel guilty about what my government does but this is different. It isn’t that we elected him, it is that we did it twice. Hopefully somehow we revert this mistake. But even so this is something I have a hard time envisioning fully getting over.

Back on topic what the f**k are the Democrats doing? What do they expect to accomplish? We have known for a decade or more the man is a sexual predator, that has not stopped enough people from voting for him. What do they think is different this time?

Are they expecting to set in motion legal action? It’s a leap from being friendly with a predator to convicting him of a sexual crime. Using the legal system against him had has not only proved fruitless it has backfired.

If it helps personally I don't think you or anyone in this country who tried to do the right thing and not vote for the orange turd deserves any share of guilt. It's not our fault that half the country fell for his evil charm because there were many of us who tried our best to stand up to the MAGA BS.

That should count for SOMETHING. If the Canadians and Europeans choose to judge all Americans as the same because of Trump and his cult of crazies that just proves that they're no different than we were during WW2 assuming all the Japanese and Germans were bad including the ones trying to flee from their countries at the time.

People can call it "karma" if they want, but I don't believe in karma.

77.1 million fellow Americans did the unthinkable, the unforgivable. these people will not disappear or reform themselves just because their hero dies or miraculously leaves us somehow. they will continue to be a negative factor in our politics for decades to come.

The two assassination attempts on Trump's life may have catalysed him into becoming the political abomination that he is today. Condolences to you and the rest of the world.

I think you have the Biden/Harris administration to blame for the Trump malignancy the world is experiencing today. Isn't America economically on its knees because of the crippling deficit due to their reckless spending? Wasn't the influx of millions of illegal and unvetted immigrants, due to their incompetence, a major factor in Trump's win?

You need to work on that. Reason over emotion is required. BTW, I never voted for Trump either. <j>
