Not a Deadhead by any means, the music I got into was the opposite of The Dead. The Deadheads loyalty is the most intense and sustained I have seen in my lifetime, until arguably the Swifties.

Usually, when a musician dies, I post a bunch of youtube videos of songs. I am not the right person to do that. That is for the Deadheads if they so choose.

Empire State Building Honors Bob Weir with Tie-Dye Lighting

Quote:
Shortly after news broke of Bob Weir’s passing at the age of 78, the Empire State Building commemorated the Grateful Dead co-founder with a special light tribute. “Tonight we will shine in tie-dye to honor the life and legacy of Bob Weir,” read a post from the New York City skyscraper’s official X account.

I admired his interest in pioneering the digital audio restoration of old 78 rpm recordings, by working with the Sonic Solutions company in early attempts at digital signal processing to remove noise and enhance clarity of these old records.
