Next time you run across a disgusting story like this, please keep it to yourself. Seriously.

No. It's news, and thats why it's here, for people to discuss it. It's no worse than the developmentally delayed woman being tortured story someone posted.

It's worse than a developmentally delayed woman being tortured. This is a baby.

And whether it's news or not, I don't want to log onto the front page of WrongPlanet and see a headline about a baby being microwaved. I'm sure nobody else does either. Take that into consideration.

That's sick. I'd be shocked if I hadn't know a woman murdered her baby in a microwave about a year ago. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6193964.stm

I hope this isn't going to be a thing that's now going to happen every year like school shootings.

I am not taking sides, but please bare in mind that

[i] regardless of the cause, this is not to be taken lightly.
[ii] this could merely be a case of a man who forgot to get an abortion.

Now there seems to be no controversy here, but there is still the issue of claiming that the OP should have not posted. Unfortunately, while common standards preclude "pointing fingers," there is only one culprit.

The indirectly cited poster is asked to note that this is indeed an autistic community portal, and thus it is extremely often that the information given by a poster transcends the cloying artificiality of "disgusting"-ness. And of course, there is no need to go to a threadyou would rather not see.

My own opinion is something I would imagine would be found repulsive, but I do not condemn the act in and of itself. It is clear that in the alleged context of malintent there is motive with which incrimination can proceed, but I myself do not consider it necessary to grant the right to life to all human protoplasm - criminaline or infantine.

That may be hard for his to do seeing it was the mother's choice to have the child or not, sure he could have told her that he did not want the kid, but that is all he can do.

I see; I just realized the fault of logic there.

I just remembered a stand-up act by Chris Rock on abortion, he joked saying that if a man every gets a woman preganet, he should never ask her "so you gonna keep it?" cuz you have no idea how she will react.

What I would like to know is did the mother know about the violence history? If she did why on earth did she leave her child with him?

This post would make Mr. Spock roll his eyes.

The thread title justified my admonishment of ShadesOfMe. It's not like I actually went to read the article.

Next time, do yourself a favor and don't make those kinds of assumptions.

At least the baby lived...

Well the man is going to prison for 25 years... Some will say he should go to prison for life. I'm not sure what to say on this one. But what I'm sure of is that his actions make me slightly nauseous (hopefully I won't throw up, I normally don't).

would have thought the damage would have been worse on inside.
Have heard of this happening quite a lot with people putting animals in microwaves,if they do not want their baby/pet they should give them to somebody that will have them.

On the count of three. One, two, three...

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!?

Seriously. I came here yesterday and it didn't affect me for about two minutes. Then I nearly vomited and started shaking all over.

Twenty-five years isn't nearly enough.
