Placing non-violent peace activists on an anti-terror
watch list actually helps the terrorists of this world.

It's an action reminiscent of placing Farley Mowat on the
McCarron-Walter list from the bad old days.

That is frightening, that you could end up on such a list for completely PACIFIST views.

Good thing is it's getting aired, and there is outrage.

I'm from England and I've been involved in some non-violent political protests. At the last one I went too at the G8 summit in Glen Eagles the police were busy taking photos of everyone at the camp.

When asked why they were doing this they told us that we were being put on the national terrorist database or whatever it's called.

So now I don't think I'd be allowed into America...........despite having family over there.

This is scary to think that you can be put on that list for simply using your First Amendment right to speak out against the government. This is becoming like the McCarthy era, only instead of being called into Congress, you get put on a list without being able to appeal it. Edward R Murrow's quote during that time is still true today, "...we cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home."

Farly Mowat is a known wolf sympathiser.

Let him into America and soon they will want to vote, move in next door, and marry your sister.
