He wants to start using our own energy wind, hydro, solar, exc.

He wants to stop buying foreign oil and use our own so we don't fund any terrorists.

He wants to do many things and they all seem quite possible.

He wants to start working on the economy by making more jobs, by building bridges and fixing things. That's exactly how we got out of the great depression.

I think he can do it!
I feel proud of my country.

Someone said, "the honourable George Walker Bush" earlier. Honourable, yeah right.

I am right now cynical. I will believe it when I see it. I don't trust politicans. They all lie and make promises they cannot keep.

The New Deal 2 is the only thing he might try to do. Those others things are obviously Obama lying. Hillary Clinton - Secratary of State - Hope & Change! Yes! Rahm Emmanual! Rad!

"Won't Get Fooled Again" ("Smiling Free")
by The Who, From the "Who's Next?" album (1971)

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
Though I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya?

There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

Nuff Sed?

I am going to turn my speakers out my windows and play that song in full blast. One of my favorites.

His Inaugural Address was superb and moving at the same time.

Got to see it on TV after classes were canceled. Really brilliant speech. My words are an understatement.

Your classes were cancelled for the inauguration? I'm in the UK so I would have missed the beginning if I hadn't been off school, cos my bus doesn't get in til 4:30pm, and the inauguration started at 4pm in GMT.
