Very much so, and I grew steadily more shy from about first grade onto my freshman year of high school. I have a little social anxiety but thankfully nothing that really hinders my ability to deal--I often cope with that by reminding myself that no one really cares that I sit off by the vending machines at lunch and not at the table, or that I have a habit of consuming a set amount of one type of food at lunch per day.

I have been opening up more now, but it's a slow thing. I remember a classmate telling me that he thought I was becoming more friendly and involved earlier this year and just being totally suspicious and blown away over it...

It helps being within a community of people for a certain time. I think college will be good for me in that respect, especially as I hope to go to a smaller university with high academic standards.

Oh yeh London is good. I haven't been there for ages but I like it. I wouldn't want to live there though, but it's a nice place to go for a while. I live in northern England, it's a bit crap up here but we have Man United. :D

I like the weather over here actually, I hate being hot, so it suits me fine here. It's really hot today though, I felt all sweaty and horrible on my way home. :?

Oh, yeah. I didn't talk much. In fact, I'm not actually sure if this was because of my shyness, but it took a long time for me to learn to talk.

When I became a performing artist, it became like a therapy that helped me get braver and better at being able to talk with people.
