I happen to absolutely hate makeup. I hate the way it feels on my face, I hate the way I can't rub my face with it on, I hate the way it looks on me--like I'm NOT me--and I hate the way it smells.

So I don't wear it. I won't even wear chapstick because I can't take the feeling. (By the way, I'm female.) Unfortunately, my mother and sister occasionally try to make me wear it, but without heavy bribery I always refuse.

Put bluntly, I'm the ugliest sod since Steve Buscemi and could do with make up. A lot of it. However, I'm a complete wimp and so self-conscious I want to wear make up but too self-conscious to actually buy or wear it. Make-up can be pretty good, and not just in regular use. If you've seen Mana from Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Mois, you'll know what I mean.

There's just so much pressure on guys not to wear it. Make-up use is associated with females, gay people and Ben Affleck. Considering many mistakenly think im gay this would only make things worse. Perhaps I worry too much about what people think of me, but what people think of me has dictated my life thus far so it seems pretty important now. I don't have an urge to look good for others, but for myself. It's a self-esteem thing.

I'm a female and I choose not to wear make-up. I can't really say that I hate it because I've never tried it before. I'd rather spend my time doing something else more important.

Well that's great of you :) you also must have awesome skin! lucky!

but yeah, makeup doesn't take long at all. it takes me 10 minutes to do mine. while i'm sitting in the car/bus on the way to school. during those ten minutes i'd normally be fumbling with the radio stations or annyoing people, so it's a good way to spend time i guess.

but if you want to try there's nothing wrong with it... haha. just saying. have a nice day!

You know the last time I went on a date was over the summer. It was with a cute 18 year old redhead. She'd probably be cuter if she didn't put her eyeshadow on the way she did. It looked like she was crying. 8O

I never wear make up. It makes my skin feel all dry and icky, and I just don't like it! Really, what's the point of it, can anyone tell me?

When I was a kid maybe. But I perfered smearing it on walls as opposed to my face. I would wear play make-up and could never figure out why my mom wouldn't let me leave the house with it on. She later confessed when I applied make-up, it looked as if I tried putting it on with my feet. I also had to wash it off right away because it felt like glue. I soon gave people who wore make-up trouble after I found out it was tested on animals.

I despise make-up and I never wear it. I've had a few people insisting I should wear it because it will make me 'prettier' but I absolutely refuse.

I have a make-up kit, but I only use it for fun at home and wash off the make-up. I've only worn make-up (other than lip gloss) in public once, and that was to a special occasion.
