Who here has an IEP or had one at one point? I have one, but right now it doesn't really do anything. Tomorrow I'm going to Miama for some psycho-ed testing related to the IEP or something.

I've got an IEP, though I don't really remember what's on there. All I know is that it's to help me with school and that's about it.

I don't know what mine said when it actually did stuff, but now it just says I'm doing very well in school, but I have some difficulties with temporal organization, and it has some goals for me, it doesn't have any active effects right now (except my parents were able to use it to get the country they wanted for their next assignment).

I miss having an IEP, because school's been difficult for me to keep up with without one. I was on mine from preschool to 2nd grade. I used to have to see the guidence counselor once a week. I was supposed to get it back in 5th grade, but they thought i was independant enough without it. I saw a pshyciatrist in 6ht grade, but that's pretty much it since then

I had one, but the school counselor decided I no longer needed one. The only useful service it offered was that I was officially allowed to leave the room for a few minutes if I was having a meltdown. Of course, most of my teachers would/will allow me to step outside under such circumstances, so it is a non-issue.

What largosan said. Only take out the meltdown part.

Ok, I had my first meeting with the psychologist today, she asked if she wants to a recomadation down for letting me type stuff instead of handwriting it, I'm not sure. Other than that all we did is IQ trtesting, which was very easy. I wonder what the result of this is going to be and if it will effect my IEP at all.
