Do you feel a sense of "sweet revenge" when an outgoing type of person has a child with AS or anything like that?

It's like "You don't understand me, but now you have to go through what I dealt with".

It's kind of funny when some lady cares about her disabled kid, but hates that socially awkward co-worker.

There is a word for that feeling in German. I can't remember what it is. Undoubtedly an Aspie with a Special Interest in languages will be able to tell us.

Label that feeling immature if you want, but it is also very human. NTs and Aspies have it all the time.

It's Schadenfreude. I know it from living in Germany.

Thank you Hanibal94! It would have driven me crazy if I hadn't heard it.

No problem, Andrew. Here's a few more good German words:

Backpfeifengesicht: Someone who deserves to get punched in the face
Kummerspeck: When you overeat and get fat because of depression or other problems.
