You sound very like me. My house needs a good clean, there's loads of stuff that just needs chucked out, I have to sort out a huge council tax bill which I only have because I didn't fill in the right form months ago for my student exemption and the 20 page paper which I should've handed in last month hasn't even been started yet.

So at least we know we're not alone.

Given what I've just said, I'm probably not the best person to be giving advice.

But sometimes, I do manage to get a bit done, and I do this by writing down everything on a list. I add to the list as things occur to me, then I prioritise it. As I do things, I score them off the list. Some days, I might only do one thing - but at least I get it done and off the list.

Tidying up the house helps as well, as I can find things like paperwork more easily.

As for bills and papers - have you tried asking for payment deferment or submission extensions? They might say no - but it can be worth a try.

I know it's hard. Right now, I should be clearing up the house, studying for my paper and so on - not be on-line. My ex is taking our son out for the afternoon and all I want to do with that time to myself is go to bed, but I'm going to force myself to do something more constructive instead.

I am the same. I am a little pig and I find being tidy really difficult. I get easily overwhelmed. I feel for you. Do you have some one that can help?
