You see, i'm starting to think this may be a REAL issue...it ONLY happon's when i'm in my ROOM, though (but, that's enouth to cause SERIUS problums...).

Apperently...WHENEVER I SLEEP in MY ROOM, when I wake up, I litterally have a really painfull headake...at first I thought it may be dream related, and, temporary, and, tried to ignore it at first...but then one night, i slept out in the living room on my mom's couch, and, i even had a DREAM that night, and I woke up, and the headake wasn't there! But...since THEN--EVERYTIME I SLEPT IN MY OWN ROOM, it would...come back. That horrable, horrable headake. It wouldn't even matter if I had DREAMS now, apperently...it would still happon no matter WHAT. I'm starting to not even want to SLEEP in my own room anymore! I'm scared it might kill me if this keep's up...

What should I do? I keep having to sleep out in the living room now...but it causes problums with my dad! I can't sleep in my room...I just CANT. It's too painfull waking up after....

I need help! I DID, however, just close a few art drawing draws of mine just today...in case these headakes are related to possable BAD energy that is flowing from where all my drawings are, as I was not always in a GOOD mood when I drew them...I don't know if that will help though, but, maybe it will....please, someone, help me......(also, I wanna know if any of you go through the same, too...if you do, how do you deal with this type of issue? it's REALLY scary...i hope this isn't the resolt of me being too forcefull on myself...but it DOES apper to ONLY happon in my room, though....still....that's REALLY BAD........)

~cmastler.....thanks for reading......

I'm REALLY upset and frusterated about this right now.....

dont understand much about it apart from the fact its bad and can cause headaches at the start, but could it be to do with carbon monoxide poisoning ?

it could be to do with the matress, the pillows and pillow height, the way are lying, the air being to dry, central heating....anything like that,it can be different in all rooms.

probably better to test the room and everywhere else inside for carbon monoxide first,if home has some of the possible causes:

Quote:
Common sources of CO that may lead to poisoning include house fires, furnaces or heaters, wood-burning stoves, motor vehicle exhaust, propane-fueled equipment such as portable camping stoves...

Get a new pillow. The most likely and most often cause for various kinds of pains in the shoulder-neck-head area after sleep are the pillow and/or the mattress.

Yes, wrong sleeping positions can cause mild to massive headaches.

Like, really bad ones that make you think somebody chopped off half your head.

Then it could have to do with the air in your room too just like KOR said. That's the other big one to look for: the air and temperature.

You don't have anything poisonous stranding around there do you?

Is your room properly ventilated at the end of the day? Is heating done correctly? It's not too hot in your room? Do you get enough oxygen during the night (or are windows and the door closed)?

You shouldn't worry about anything spiritual. It's most certainly not the cause.

I agree with Sora about trying a new pillow. Also, has anyone cleaned your room recently or used anything involving chemicals? Some people are really sensitive to the smell of chemicals and it could definitely cause headaches. Can you open the window and air your room out for a bit? I hope you get some rest soon.

I'd probably check under my bed and make sure I hadn't left anything that could spoil and possibly mold anywhere around where I sleep.

Try flipping your mattress, you flip it upside down then rotate it so what was the head is now the foot as well. Something your supposed to do every so often to keep it in good order.

I would also check for carbon-monoxide with one of those detectors, make sure all the air intake vents in your room are uncovered and make sure your heating/air vents as well are uncovered. If they start melting plastic that could put chemicals in the air as well.

I was having horrible headaches through the day, then we moved houses and they cleared up mostly. Turns out the oven wasn't closing all the way and that it was leaking SOMETHING that wasn't carbon monoxide.

Have you dusted lately? Many people are allergic to dust and molds.

Look around the living room then look around your room. Do they feel different during the day? Are you comfortable in your room during the day? If not you might need to make some decor changes until you find it comfortable.

Are there any noises that can be taken away (computer fans running all night) or added (a bubbling fish tank knocks me right out).

I sleep better in a tidy room and can be easily overwhelmed by clutter.

Grinding or clenching teeth while sleeping will cause severe headaches. As will sleep apnea, sinus infections, carbon monoxide or allergies to bed materials. Do you have one of those egg crate foam mattress toppers or pillows made out of the same material? Those have made me have trouble breathing, itching and headaches.

You need to let your parents know you get these headaches. I would suggest a trip to the chiropractor first to see if your neck is out of alignment which will also cause a headache. Pillows that are too thick can cause neck misalignment.

queston, do you need a new matress? call me crazy but i refuse to belive that your room is cursed/haunted whatever. take ur matress out of ur room and sleep on it by moveing ur coffe table out of the way, if thats it then well u need a new matress, if not then you might want to check your air ducs for containents like mold and such.

Well...it apper's something simular might happon when i rest in my brother's room, too (was napping in there a bit earlier...). I didn't get a HUGE headake, just a small one...and it appered to be cause the door was closed.

I notice that the door to my room HAS been closed a lot lately...maybe that's what is causing this?

Also--I noticed i've been STARTING to sleep with the covers over my head. Yes, at night time, too...since I had my cold, actually. I did that cause it felt comphertable, I dont know why...but it does apper that this started around when I started doing that, soo it could have a lot to do with this problum.

And, by the way...I asked my mom about the Carbon-Monoxide Poisoning thing...she said that people check our furnices for that all the time, and, we would defenetly know if that was the case...thus, it isn't the case at all.

I DO tend to spray my room with arosol a lot, though...mainly cause I have difficulties with bad smells...I really need to stop that now I bet...

And I would know if my matress/pillows had egg-based products in them...simply cause i'm really sencitive to how eggs smell....even if it would be carton. I doubt thats the type of bed/pillows i sleep with...

Ahhh...the head/neck alainment issue...yes, that would be a problum if that's related to this, cause I DO tend to sleep with my head propped up, a lot. I like...put lots of stuffed animals under my pillow every night, just soo my head would be rased off my bed enouth...

I really can't help this AT ALL...because I have a REALLY hard time breathing if I have to lay to flat on my bed. Seriusly...

Teeth Grinding? I also do that...but I didn't think that would matter at all. :? I really thought a lot of people did that, actually...

And i'm not sure if we could even AFFORD a chiropractor...*SIGH* We just aren't that rich. :(

And...hmmmn...Maybe I should try flipping my mattress sometime...I don't know how it will help much though.

Well...I do have some banana peels in my waste basket...o.o;; their resent, though, but I should take out the trash sometime soon.

And...yes: I DO tend to have my room cluttered. A lot. It's not as bad as it used to be, but...it might still be creepishly dusty in there....

Maybe it even causes me to sneeze when I am in a deep sleep at night. x_x I sure hope not...

Soo...wow....I guess your right...I really may need to pay more attension to the shape I keep my room in, and my sleeping habits. Guess it wasn't 'energy' related AT ALL in the end....(yeah...sorry about that...it's a quirk of mine, mainly based off the fact that I have a small intrest in new age type things, though it's kinda faded now. it's not a good conclusion to jump too, though...I mean, why would a DRAWING be...evil, right? o-o;; sheesh...)

~cmastler..golly gee (credit to wherever i learned that quote xD;; ), i hope i'm not too worried about by everyone now...x.x

(PS: My whole mouth was tasting like blood when I was typing all this out....X____X)

How long have you been sleeping in this room and how long have you been getting really bad headaches in the room?

If you have been sleeping ok in that room for months or years, then your headaches may be due to some recent change that has been made which is affecting your sleep. ...For example, if there is a new rug in your room, it could be the formaldehyde outgassing that is causing your headaches. Or the rug could even be in the hall outside your room and be causing problems. Formaldehyde is uber toxic. Are there any fresh flowers in your room? Or one of those air fresheners?

I can't sleep near transformers because I can hear the humming even through earplugs. Those transformers could be fifty feet from my room and I will still hear them...or they could be up on a pole outside and not even that close to my room and will still bother me. Ticking or humming clocks ditto.

If you just got a new mattress you could be allergic to it. If you are under an attic or over a basement, check those areas to see if there is anything that might be bothering you. New blanket or sheets ditto. I recently bought some sheets I was allergic to. I washed them 3 times and the smell was still there. There's no way I could sleep on those sheets.

Is someone cleaning your room with a product you could be allergic to? Or is there an unpleasant odor in your room? Is there a dead mouse under your house or your room?

That last one made me laugh. Not trying to be funny. Dead mice under the house or in the walls are extremely unpleasant but probably don't cause headaches.

Walk around outside and see if there is anything near your room that could be causing the headaches.

Do you have a computer in your room or other electronic equipment that could be causing the problem?

I could go on and on. You've got to be like a detective and track down what is causing the problem. Sounds to me like you may have an allergy to something in or near your room [even a room next to yours] or sensitivity to sound/odor. Or maybe you just don't like your room and you will never like your room no matter what.

The picture could have been an issue to an extent, you said you weren't in a great mood when you did it, it might have reminded you of how you felt when you made it and going to sleep thinking about it might not have helped.

On another side :D they say blue is calming!
