Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

Last night I watched the Japanese film "Cat Soup" for the first time. I had heard that it's pretty disturbing, but I mostly just found it very weird. If I hadn't read about it on TV Tropes I might have had no clue what was going on. I know the little brother cat tried to get his sister's soul back when she died of a fever and he nearly drowned at the same time. But he only got half of it back, so his sister comes back to life but is "brain dead" without the other half of her soul. She just sits around with a dopey expression on her face. And then their mother sends them to the store and it turns into this bizarre, surreal trip of some kind. For example they end up on a boat with a pig who catches them fish but the brother cat attacks the pig, unzips his skin, takes pieces of meat out of him to fry and feeds it to the sister. And the pigs eats some, too. 8O

I was dying to talk about this film and well, the topic is cats, so... :)
