Have you ever gotten the feeling that maybe you are a creepy stalker? Based on people's reactions towards you, or just brief moments of self-revelation that you might have had? Or anything else?

I am such a creepy stalker. If I wasnt, I would have had very few relationships ,because guys didnt persue me..It was my persistence and one track obsession, that has worn down the resistance of several guys.
I would find out their schedules in school and make sure I was in the vicinity(just to see them),write them poems, letters, make art for them. Some of them were probably creeped out but others were flattered and we would end up in a relationship. This just reinforced my stalking behavior.I think I am finally past the stalking phase and have managed to stay in the same relationship for 4 years...my personal record.

For some reason I can't stop thinking about an incident I had when I was in college. I was obsessed with a man from the former Czech Republic who worked as a librarian in one library and then a second shift in a library across the street. I changed my schedule so that I could see him and was just generally obsessed with him. We never once exchanged a single sexual or romantic word or gesture, so that was not the objective for me or anything. This went on for more than two years. But I remember one night, when I showed up at the second library where he worked and he jumped, and I saw in his face that he was scared. He was older than I was and three times my girth, but somehow I had managed to scare him . I guess it's kind of funny in a sad way. Well anyway, it wasn't until recently that it even occurred to me that I was stalking him. I did other things too, some of them quite extreme. Which leads me to conclude that perhaps I am, after all, a creepy stalker :(.

You may not have scared him ,so much,as starteled him?I have had my chest inter my throat, when I have been deep in thought and someone "appears".

As far as the creepy stalker thing....I dont think we are thaat creepy. My intentions were never to harm anyone, kidnap them or break-up a relationship....I just wanted to see them or hear their voice because I found it asthetically pleasing...like "hunting" an exotic butterfly(except for the part were you catch them in a net, sufficate them in a glass jar and pin them to a cork board.....now,thats "creepy".)

Smiths song.....

"you can pin and mount me like a butterfly
but take me to the haven of your bed
is something that you never said"

always liked that song.

Yes, badly. I feel that way every time i try and force my self to be "normal" and socially interact with people i dont want to interact with, but feel obliged to because of the mask i have to put on for my job. I think they see right through my mask and they think im a freak.

I, uh, e-stalk. Does finding people on myspace count? And yes, I suppose I'm paranoid that people will realize how much I wonder about them, what they're thinking about me and all that. I try to minimize social contact.

I have been very quite before. It scares the living day lights out of people when I say hello and they're not even aware I just walked up to them.

I become obsessed with people, and not so much things, or subjects like astronomy, etc. So when I like some one usualy a pretty girl, that is all I think about....it engulfs me, and my thoughts.

This never leads to me doing anything against their wishes, because I hold their respect, and opinions to the utmost degree. But It has creeped out a few girls back in high school. Which I have since made up with them, and one is actually a really good friend now.

But up until a month ago or so for the last 3 years I stayed away from any type of connection with a girl because I didn't want this to happen. But I don't know if it will happen again where I creep someone out...because I hate the feeling.

I e-stalk with screen names and what not, to find people's MySpaces and LiveJournals and what not. "Oh, look, here's their list interests and favorites! I'll bring that up so we can agree on something and she might like me better!"

There are also times when I approach girls, and attempt to say hello, but fail so it winds up seeming creepy to them if they notice. This is particularly annoying and guilt-ridden when they're walking in another direction but it's one of my last or only oppertunities to talk to them, so I have to follow them for a few minutes to get into the position to say hello. It's never as simple as starting a conversation with me.

I am not a creepy stalker. I believe that Brocktoon wants me to follow him everywhere and kill his pets.

i think about DOING all kinds of stalking type stuff... but i usually never get past googling a pic of them or something...

i can't muster the effort (or rip myself away from WP?) to estalk myspace stuff and such... nor would i change my routines...

i'm more like spider waiting to trap em in my web i guess lol
