Foxes cannot breed with dogs at all.

Dogs can breed with coyotes, with wolves....but not with foxes,

This is because foxes are vulpines, and wolves, coyotes and dogs are canines.

It's the same reason why anyone claiming to have a dog that is part hyena is either dumb, ignorant or a liar, possibly all three (yes, this is a thing I've seen claimed).
