they dignosed me with a test that i thinks called the sally ann test not the mind in eyes test

How do you know they were diagnosed around that age group? Stop speaking BS.

EDIT: I was also 5 when I was diagnosed.

I was only diagnosed at 18. That's not because I didn't have the 'symptoms' when I was younger though. My family recognised that I did, but because there wasn't enough awareness of Aspergers, they assumed I wasn't Autistic because I was able to cope. Hence 'hight functioning'. I got by because I was reasonably intelligent. Also, a lot of people here who were diagnosed very late were not diagnsoed as a kid because people didn't even know what it was then.

Aspie17, just because some people here were diagnosed at an older age DOESN'T mean that they don't have AS.

I lived with it through my life, getting a load of crap from the locals and people in school. I didn't think it was a horrible disease at all, in fact I'm quite happy that I'm more "different" to NTs. You don't necessarily have to "hate" AS to have AS y'know.
