Don't kow about "normally", but I think it's pretty common in them too, yes. There's also a tendency for white cats to be deaf on the side that has the blue eye, because something about the lack of pigmentation also causes the inner ear to degenerate.

It's a silver fox: the melanistic form of the red fox. It's the same thing that produces panthers.When they breed with a regularly coloured fox, they produce what is called a "cross fox".
