I haven't tried that! Thank you Aurora. I just gave up, lost posts and stopped trying since it refused to stop. I had done things like restartinfg the router, the tablet, and so on. But i haven't done a refresh on the page when captcha traps me.

I'm sorry, i haven't had it in me to rewrite a full reply the last few days. One of my fatal flaws is good intentions and horrible follow through - especially if i get detoured (which is inevitable, but in this case happened much sooner with captcha). I spend a lot of time trying to get words out right, verbally i never win. Writing, i can, but what takes 5min to read may well take an hour to write and edit.

I still want to give a full reply, but given my propensities, now doubt i could help write an ad. I would wonder about cl anyway in general since it tends to be ads for escorts and one night stands. I honestly don't know if the person you're looking for would ever read them; i never have.

I also wonder about putting guns first. Perhaps in the 'what i'm looking for' part of what you write, there could be 'i don't hunt, but i do enjoy target practice and my current position involves firearms. You don't have to go shooting with me (though i'd be happy to have you join me), but my match is someone who is okay with my doing so.

And, 'wet shaving' i now know what it is, but if i saw an ad, especially on cl, i'd think it was a fetish. A reword such as 'i find old fashioned barbers, both the wet shaving methods and their history, fascinating.'

I also think it's important to include something along the lines of 'i'm not of the mindset "no sex until marriage", but i do view it as more than just a physical act; for me, there needs to be an emotional connection. I could never do 'friends with benefits' nor a one night stand. Because of this, i like to take things a bit more slowly than many guys and would rather a first date be getting to know each other instead of jumping into bed.'.
-- there are three parts to this 1. It clears up intentions as a lot of men with ads do seem the latter, which for women wanting more, this is a plus in the beginning. 2. It's true. 3. Someone truly of this mindset isn't going to have had piles of women and endless notches on their bedpost. You'd be owning that from the onset instead of ashamed of it.

I also was wondering if you've tried to have your student loans forgiven. Being on ss is a reason they grant it and you would no longer owe the money.

There was a lot more, but assuming captcha lets this go through, hopefully i'll add to it soon.

You're not into liberal girls and mentioning guns keeps them away. Yay. I'm not a gun person but have been to a shooting range (on a date) and have several colleagues that target shoot, i.e. go to range as part of a club with a coach every Tuesday night, so maybe that's an option for meeting girls.

@Sly,

If I had this same outlook on life, I would not be the married and educated person that I am today. I would not doubt for a single moment in my life that you will succeed in attaining your goals in life.

You just have to trust time to reveal all things.

I thought you were starting to feel more positive Sly? Did you see what Fireflies wrote for you? I think it would help to have wording like that in your dating profiles.

Yes but even people on this forum who suppose to be more accepting of people, are nothing but negative towards people like me. They paint a very hopeless future for me and call me dishonest and bad. :(

There's no point. I'm too messed up to be anything but a servant.

Bad mojo, bad signs.

Man that place was creepy and there was a bad smell coming from the basement , such a red flag.

Or in this case reasons not to date a guy. Debt, crap job, fat, ugly, not manly etc.

I have debt that inheritly makes me a horrible person and updatable. One of many reasons I'm undateable apparently :(. Only well off successful aspies count life.

I still cannot understand what you mean. And no you are not ugly, you should stop saying these things about yourself.

Debt =no date

Red flags are things for which you won't date someone.

I am also in debt and that reality had no bearing on any relationships I had with other people.

Not what people are saying in the background/credit check thread.
