There are so many aspies that become depressed around age 15, why haven't I had the slightest touch of it?

You were blessed.

I'm not sure. I think it's just as common for NT's to become depressed around adolescence.

I became depressed for the first time around the age of 14 but I'm not sure reason for it was related to my ASD. I was a loner in school but I don't have any recollection of being particularly bothered by it. I was teased/bullied occasionally but it was really nothing compared to what a lot of others had to endure. I had NT classmates who got bullied far worse than I did. When I recall my first episode of depression it pretty much corresponds to the first time I found myself contemplating "what's the point of going to school? what's the point of doing anything?". It was also the time I first realized that the adults in my life didn't really have answers for me. Suddenly the world wasn't the cozy comforting place it used to be in childhood.
