I hope I never have any wisdom teeth problems... it sounds really gross, having them taken out.

I would suggest again stop taking the Vicodin and take a stimulant.

When I used to take Codiene, I would be very angry for NO reason. I could be having the best day of my life and you came up and said "Hi.".

I would turn and rip your head off verbally. I would yell and scream at you for no reason. You sound ike you are having the same reaction.

I would suggest you try a different painkiller that is not Vicodin, Codiene or Dextromorphan. You might be missing the Liver Protien that breaks them down into Morphine. I have that exact problem.

So if you are missing that Liver Protien, you are actually having a drug induced Psychotic episode that will not stop until several hours after you stop taking the Vicodin.

Remember Vicodin, Codiene and Dextromorphan are Psychotropic drugs that most peoples bodies break down into Morphine. If your body doesn't break them down, you are going for a trip and it sounds like not the good kind.

Wow! that sounds just exactly like what I have been going through...

I have ADHD and cannot take Dayquil without feeling loopy. The only time I've managed to take it without problems was when I was in Jump School... was doing so much exercise and drinking so much water that it got cycled out very quickly. I've never needed more than Motrin for having teeth removed, so I have no experience with Vicadin but thank you for the heads up that would likely make me insane!

I like to use Lil'Teether's gel for mouth pain, its like baby orajel, only it tastes better in my opinion. With my braces I sometimes need something, but hate to take pills. (Grown up orajel burns the skin in my mouth!)

I had my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 16 because I had worn braces for about 3 years before then, and the dentist told my mom that they needed to come out because some of them were impacted and would ruin what the braces did. I was referred to an oral surgeon, and they were removed a few days later. I ended up missing about 3 days of school, and I had codeine for the pain, and it really worked. The only drawback was that the pill would start to dissolve when I put it in my mouth, so it tasted pretty nasty.
