What gives the right for others to interfere in his plans? How dare they!

Those people who tried to stop him, as well as his sister, what have they done to help him? Nothing! What would they do when they stopped the suicide? Nothing!

He was in the position to kill himself, so that means no one tried to help him, not even his sister, who strangely enough rushes around to his place. Why? Guilt, I presume. Now she can look at herself and the brother she lost, the one she did nothing for.

A brave Aspie I agree, but don't judge his sister, she is not guilty of his AS or loneliness. Maybe she has been very supportive of her brother, or not, we just don't know. The only thing we know she tried to do the right thing trying to stop him.

But why should someone stop someone from killing themselves? Its that person's right to make their own decisions, and he made his. He stood up for what he believed in. Everything else, including his sister, is just a distraction from his goal: suicide.
Luckily, he carried it through and died with self induced honour. It was fate that stopped the wolves from getting through his door and stopping him.

Thats a bit harsh. The sister will be feeling bad enough already without this. Leave her be
Absolutely. There is nothing else his sister could have done other than rush to try and save him... and yet people who've never been through the trauma of a suicide will still look down their long noses and accuse her. When you think how cruel people are, and how narrow minded and judgemental, you can see why he felt as bad as he did.

I can't say that he's at peace now, because I don't know... but I surely hope he is.

Craig... where is the honour in breaking the hearts of everyone who ever loved him? Please understand me, I'm not saying that suicide is a sin. It was his choice. But his sister was honourable in trying to save him. She wasn't just a distraction, she is a person, and unlike anyone on this thread she knew him and loved him. Suicide is not honourable or dishonourable... it depends on the situation. In this instance I don't think it was either... it was somewhere between the too, because I do believe the man was unwell, and if he'd had more time he'd have seen different choices.

Well, in Japan, they sword themselves to death if dishonour was caused.

His mother is an alternative medicine charlatan that "treats" children with autism, adhd and CP. I wonder if that affected him.

You are very likely an Aspie.

I can understand why he did it. He was probably so disappointed in people that he wanted to prove to them that they were wrong in treating him the way they did. That he had to stoop so low as to ending his own life in order to make everyone see how much he suffered is extremely sad.

I know I've been there many times and a couple of times I ended up in the hospital. On one hand, the world can be cruel especially for those of us who already dealing with clinical depression. People can be very vicious. On the otherhand, I'm sure he had people who cared about him deeply like his sister. I don't know why exactly Craig chooses to blame her but not him. Suicide is a selfish act for those who are still living with it so yes, his sister and anyone who did care about will be the ones suffering. I had the same thing happen when my best friend died of an overdose, I felt like she didn't care about me or anyone that was suppose to be important to her life. At the same time I know what it's like. You feel like people don't care and it's the only way out.

Anyway my condolences to his family and the people who did try and be there for him. The world has never been a fair place for anyone.

RIP

Anyone who sees this video, should use it as inspiration to not kill yourself. This isn't the way to go out.
