I worked a total of 3 hours today and fell asleep on the couch when I got home. I've been this way as long as I can remember. If I have to work longer I can, but it seems as soon as I don't have to do something I get sleepy. I would like to make art again but I'm having a hard time getting started. I knew an artist who said he would just splatter some paint on the canvas just to get past it. I'm stymied.
It does seem that not having much to do can be difficult.
As for Art, I would say what my brother just told me about my problem with writing music - "Treat it as an organic process" he was stating the point to me when I told him that I want it all to sound good from the offset that I should treat it as more organic and natural, to allow it to progress with new ideas over time - writing the basics first.
I will tell you the same with Art.

Treat Art as more of an organic process than a mechanical one, if that is a problem you sometimes find with it, as I know I do with music many times.
Allow the Art, and the creativity to be natural and organic - no pressure at the beginning of a painting/drawing, what kind of Art is it you do?
