Keep a record of every incident though, no matter how trivial.

Also, can you get a restraining order if you don't already have one? I know it varies from country to country, but here you only need to feel threatened by a person's actions to ask for one.

That's not the point. If you have one, if he disobeys it, it gives the police immediate power to arrest him if he's within range, even if he isn't caught in the act of throwing bricks.

In the meantime, have you anywhere else you can go where you feel safe? Out of town I mean.
