Too many demons

I decided to keep my GOP ties, but I still worry that it will cost me potential friends/romantic partners.

I try very hard to enter the ranks of the NT world, but I feel that it will never be good enough, because especially when it comes to relationships, I worry that my difficulties with nonverbal social cues would make it impossible to find a suitable mate. Yet the numbers game makes finding a fellow spectrumite nearly impossible, and that doesn't even take into account that she may be asexual, can't hold down a decent job, or doesn't like to travel because of the routine disruptions that would be involved.

Keep an open mind with women. I am on the spectrum too (not officially but it sure makes sense). Anyway, I have found a really nice guy (Christian) who doesn't get everything about me, but does his best to understand. I am somewhat non-verbal as well...communication is not always easy for me. Hopefully you'll find someone who will get you too! As far as political affiliations go, don't change yourself to fit in with others. It doesn't work. You believe what you believe. Some young lady will need to respect that about you & not want to change into something you are not. If you meet someone who suddenly thinks you need to change to suit her needs, then she's not the right one for you.

Did you find another job yet? I am also out of work & have been since May. Sucks, & the economy doesn't seem to be improving which means jobs are still difficult to come by.

I am really angry with our country's representatives (state & nationally) on all sides of the fence. Corruption is getting out of hand & our law makers are passing special laws to make themselves exempt from laws that all citizens are suppposed to respect. I'm not sure how, but we need to do some heavy politcal house cleaning & rid our government from money-grubbing thieves who control our lives. Republicans & democrats are definitely earning money by normally illegal means, & some have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Now finding & keeping reps who are not corrupt will be the hardest part since power is the ultimate corrupter.

I had not found a job yet, but I have had quite a few interviews, including one last week, and I should hear something about that one in a few days.

As for relationships, I worried that I am not the type of guy that someone would actually be interested in. I am the one that people settle for when they can't get anyone else.
