Well from what I've learned about you around here, those guys are f*cking idiots - I have no idea what they could possibly be thinking...

Well, one was thinking he would become an asexual fascist. The others didn't know. It's my fault. But obviously the one guy who knew me the best wasn't into me. He knew SO much about me. And I wasn't good enough. I definitely would have freaked out the other guys if they knew. :(
I don't tell you guys a lot of stuff I'm ashamed of about myself. :? But thanks anyways.

Quote:
On unrequited love

animals that i love know i love them, and they feel warm to me and it feels like they love me back. i may be wrong but it feels so right to me. the trust of an innocent animal is worth as much easily as the trust of a human in my mind.
i feel happy if innocent birds are vying for my attention.
i feel that it is a drag if i have humans thinking about me.
they always say what they say which is mostly gobbledegook to me , and i never have any idea how to reply.
i can not care what happens in complicated heads, even though i have one of my own.

badly written but posted anyway.

*many many hugs to any experiencing unrequited love*
Hurray for not having anything particularly useful to add apart from empathy and attempted comfort!

Also - I prefer animals too. They're logical and don't screw you over. Give them food and take them for exercise and they will give you affection. Simple give and take kind of thing that seems somehow more honest.

Yes, there are those without a clue of the other person that loves them -- if they should be privy to that or not..
But what about that other person who cannot receive, nor give that one that one wants to send? What if that person CANNOT love back, and is too hurt, cynical, confused, caught up in a storm, in the midst of a war for his life, etc. I guess guess guess that most likely this is not the case, and could not be the case for the original poster. But having once been the one who could not love back and hating it and hiding it... I find that much worse than this thread's theme. I am not trying to "win" here, or show-upmanship or whatever. But this is real what I am describing, and I find much more painful. Unrequited love... perhaps the other person does not like you at all and if you even did get together and then you know it was not to be that you idealized the person and didn't really know them and their defect or whatever, and you easily part ways. But having a connection and the demons hindering you from experiencing that very love you need and are being given it by the other person you love most, but being a zombie and not able to connect, it being aspergers or not, is something else entirely. The other loving is so so so pained like you all are because of this love is not attainable and it is taken personally and can even make the other feel without value and unloved.... rant rant rant switch on: my rant is selfish and rude, eh?

That's sweet of you, thanks! :)

And I agree with you, life these last few days would have been far less bearable without my cat

"A mighty pain to love it is,
And 'tis a pain that pain to miss;
But of all pains, the greatest pain
It is to love, but love in vain."
-Abraham Cowley

I've experienced a lot of unrequited love. In fact, I'm in just such a position right now. It hurts like hell.

You know, I've noticed that many of the other users on the site have felt unrequited love, and it's hurt them so much that they refuse to talk about it.
