A reputation button will only make people feel badly again. Artrat, I noticed your posts last night. Sometimes, when a post is full of angst, I don't feel qualified to respond. I have been involved in the rev left forum but they accused people for being bourgeoisie simply for their choice of food.
They are too ignorant to know that bourgeoisie means middle class.

I complain about this forum and then everyone makes me feel welcome. Its quite ironic.

I am not the most popular person on here. I dont get into all the banter really or participate in the "lets rub another members shoulders so they will rub mine in return" threads or add bazillion members on facebook ect. I come voice my opinion, try to be myself while doing so while not purposely hurting other members and go on my way. I dont even really talk about my interests here because i have other forums for that. :shrug: I am used to not being in a clique and could ultimately care less on popularity even among the aspies.

artrat, I notice that you made a similar comment after I commended Henbane on her posting a great Leonard Cohen video in another [Adult Forum] thread. The reason I didn't chime in when you posted something about Leonard Cohen (before her) is because I was really, really uncomfortable when you said, "he sure is one goodlooking Jewish man."

And, I was commending the song she picked, not the cuteness of Leonard Cohen, so I wasn't really backing you on your choice.

I think that it's a little harder here than some places to gauge if a joke will succeed, that's all.

I've read your posts and I think that you're an interesting person in a good way. There are times that I feel ignored. There are posts that I make that don't get any responses. I spend 90% of the time in Random Discussion and I miss a lot of what's going on. I'll be making better use of WP and I'll start replying to the people who look like they're being ignored, because I know that feeling. Nobody likes to be ignored.

Hmmm... I feel the same way. I mean, I'm intelligent enough but I'm not the most fun/entertaining person socially so I get ignored. I hate feeling like I'm a boring person.

I also get ignored a lot on here. Maybe it's just part of the nature of this site. It isn't natural for aspies to go out of there way to give other people attention. I tend to post on things that interest me.
