Dear OP,

It has been brought to my attention that our rash judgments and criticism of your position may have scared you away. But my insight tells me that you'll be back to argue the point through. If you want to hear less harsh answers, then I'd suggest that perhaps you find a hobby. "GETTING BACK" and revenge are typically anger coming to the surface. I doubt you where told that by your stepmother while you where in your teens - and if you where your amount of patience to hold onto that anger for so long is outstanding. There comes a time in every child's life where you have to step up on your own two feet and pay your own way/let the past go. I was abused by a step-father and his family most of my life but I'm on good terms with them. His grandparents used to lock me in a back room and lay on a cot for 9 hours a day while they babysat me because they didn't want to deal with me. And if I was brought out to eat I'd have to eat it all/they'd give me atrocious portion sizes so I couldn't possibly finish. When I didn't finish they'd simply dump the food on my head - and push me out the front or back door.

But what I'm trying to explain is people are jerks, but we're all human. Obviously your angry - but you seriously have to understand your situation for what it is. Your dad is a grown man with an obviously a lot of a patience who has defended you from his new wife... And your step-mother is a woman who doesn't want someone hanging around all the time that probably doesn't put forth much effort into improving their lives. Whether she is "evil" or not doesn't matter, but what your dad wants is important. If he decides to be with her - then you should agree and back away...

I mean, seriously... his wife is probably wondering when your going to come around a corner to harass her and is probably afraid of you being around her kids. You need to refrain from causing personal and/or mental injury on others, if you expect them to want you around at all.

Sincerely,
Nim

I have he hardly sees me and only occasionally talks to me. She cause me MENTAL AND PERSONAL INJURY. HES MADE IT VERY CLEAR HE WANTS HIS WITCH AND ME TO STOP BADMOUTHING HER AND PRECIOUS BRATS!! !! ive been told by my mum, granny on dads side and my aunts and cousins to leave it. I have never hated anyone more in my life

Your not in a very healthy mindset. You should leave it and move on, perhaps start a family of your own or spend more time with your mother. Continuing down a path of anger won't lead to any great victory's, and if she does end up leaving your dad... then your dad would most likely hate you for it. If you tried to make peace and perhaps started talking to your father briefly, then down the line you'd have a better relationship and they might enjoy you over. But he's more than likely going to stick close to his wife, since thats really what people do....

I could understand if she was turning puppies into coats or something....

It will be a cold day in hell before i make peace. If she was going to leave him because of me shed have done it already. They hate me too much too enjoy having me over. wasn that obvious from my posts?

Yeah...what everyone else said. I thought you were a young kid based on how you were acting. Wow. Seek help and try to get to the root of your behavior. Please, don't ruin your dad's happiness. But yeah, what did she do exactly? Maybe you're misinterpreting her behavior? >.<

SHES THE CAUSE

Okay. No need to shout.

I had a couple of stepmothers in my life (hell, my dad's getting married for the fourth time this summer). One forced my brother and I to sleep in the attic, even though there was a perfectly good guestroom for us to use and she would say horrible things about my mother, whom she's never met. Dad was only married to her for 6 months. The most recent step mother was just a spoiled brat, as were her daughters, her son was a good kid and I feel bad for him. I lived with my mother most of the time anyway so I guess it didn't matter.

You're 28 years old, what are you doing with your life currently? You mentioned going to college? Are you still in school or are you working now? Instead of rehashing the past, I would focus on improving your future. :)

im unemployed, was at college till i was 20 did business studies im now looking for work

Ah. I was in college until may, worked from September til 3 weeks ago when I was let go. So yes, I am also unemployed. Looking for work is rough but I would suggest focusing your efforts on that. I would also venture that this hatred may seep into other areas of your life. So getting this resolved peacefully may help you let go and move on, which could help you in the job search as well. :)

I am using the hatred for more productive areas. Like a lawyer to dispute him getting his money if he goes first

@Evilstepson: Which is more evil: The intent to harm others, or the act of harming others?

Ooor maybe if you can focus your attention to something completely unrelated to your dad. You're both adults, your dad wants to be with her so interfering with that isn't cool. You could find a hobby, exercise, job, learn an instrument, or something. You would be a happier person once you add meaning to your own life that doesn't involve getting revenge on family members.

Im not looking revenge on family member. We arent each others family. She likes to thinks she apart of my extended family most of them hate her for their own reasons not related to me

No. it is certainly an evasive response (and the correct spelling is "probably").

Do you want advice or do you want to rant?

Well, she is married to your father so technically she is a member of your extended family. Either way, my point still stands. You have nothing to gain by behaving this way.

Maybe it's an Aspie thing, but I can fully understand how it's hard to shrug off a grudge, even if it's been years since I had been offended by this or that person.
My advice to evilstepson is, while I am sympathetic toward his predicament, but as hard as it is, try to get past how you had been mistreated, because holding a grudge that dominates your thoughts and emotions only hurts you. This is coming from a guy who has held onto way too many grudges and hates in my life.
