Alright guys I get it 
Didn't mean to make this a competition. I have seen all your stories. I guess it's just that posting online here and waiting for your responses is different than talking with someone face-to-face. It doesn't seem to have a prominent effect so nothing in my life changes.

I think you may be just focusing on the posts from people who are more social or are in relationships or have been in them. It's a lot easier to notice people who have what you want and don't have than it is to notice people in the same boat with you. That's just human nature.
If I'm feeling bad about my appearance and I go out somewhere I'll notice all the girls who look better than I do instead of the girls who look worse than I do.
