I've probably talked to myself more than any other person! I've been trying to stop doing it in public but me and I somehow get a conversation going now and then.

Yes, I talk to myself. Most frequently when I'm thinking too much / too fast. Its also usually not in public, though at times it can be.

I have a dialogue with myself going on in my head most of the time.

Yep. Usually when I'm on my own.

Yeah, I could agree with that... sort of.

I often go through hypothetical social situations in my head.
I debate myself on this or that in my head.

And most definately I talk to myself, though not terribly often, and for the most part not in public. In the real world I try to appear neurotypical and most certainly would NEVER do it in front of a psychologist.

I swear that once in a while my mouth will subtly move in response to the train of thoughts that is traveling through my head... this will happen in public and I often wonder whether others notice or are too wrapped up in thmselves to care...

I don't usually have them out loud, but I've always got some kind of conversation going on in my head. Mostly it's all of the things that I wish I could say out loud to someone.

I do it all the time, sometimes even repeating meaningless phrases.

Sorta-kinda. Mostly in my head, but usually not aloud unless I've read something I'm interested in on the net. I occasionally do make comments on what I read out loud.

I try to curb my talking-to-myself when I'm in public places, but find myself at least moving my mouth in silent speech or sometimes mumbling under my breath. Then I try harder, but it doesn't always work.

When I'm alone, I give myself the OK to talk to myself all I want. I have nobody else to talk to in my apartment, and I find that verbalizing my thoughts helps my writing.

I do a bit of perseveration and at first that startled me; I may be imitating a dear friend who died in 2000, who had many autistic symptoms and perseverated constantly. I tend to repeat just one word out of a phrase I've already said aloud, or one or two words that just come out by themselves unbidden--and I repeat only once or twice as a rule. It feels like a nervous habit. I am not worried about it. I have bigger things to worry about.

Yes I do. I make up stories, talk through problems, plan what i'm going to say, and many other things. However, I have to watch myself in public.

Yeah I talk to myself too. Usually in the early hours of the morning, when there's nobody about and I'm walking to work. I find it helps me concentrate and organise my thoughts.

Although I try not to talk to myself when other people are around, I have been caught occasionally and got some strange looks. Most people associate talking to yourself with schizophrenia.

yes, especially when walking, but try to hide it when people are around,
i do not always care to hide it if i'm in an area where it is unlikely i'll meet anyone i know.

I talk to myself sometimes. Most of the time I do it without even realising until someone tells me to shut up.

I have a better social life with myself than with anyone else, apparently :(

Sometimes, but not often, I'll say something out loud, and then I'll say it again, only kind of quietly, to myself. And there are a lot of times where I'll have a piece of music stuck in my head, and I'll start singing to myself.

I talk to myself, when I'm by myself. I'm the easiest person for me to talk to. I talk about what's wrong with the world, and how to put everything right, again like they used to be.
