The hiking here in the state of Washington is truly awe inspiring. It just isn't quite enough.

If you have an interest in the plants or animals in that area maybe there are some guided hikes with other people.A good way to break the ice with someone,talking about the stuff around you.
If that is a cloudy climate that can make depression worse,maybe some full spectrum lighting?
My depressions are worse when the weather is gloomy,if I can get myself outside on sunny days it helps me some.
