I think that is what this person was trying to do with me as well but from their sound of things, it reminded me too much of what they did in the movie "The Truman Show" and I really did not like that. I just felt like they wanted every waking moment of my life as far as what I was doing next. That is not what I wanted.

One of the things I have always counted myself fortunate for possessing is a strong sense of who I am, what I'm about, and what I want to do. And it sounds as if you are fortunate in this respect too. Unfortunately, this hardly describes all aspies.

I know right? One time I came up with a spin off of Jeff Foxworthy's you might be a redneck if and changed it to you might be an aspie.

Some other aspies saw that and completely took everything the wrong way as if I was making fun of people on the spectrum. They said I was arrogant and that I was a B" for doing that.

I said, well aren't you guys just a ray of sunshine. I also have Asperger's Syndrome and I was just making fun of my own flaws. Get over yourselves.

I agree. I'm both a redneck and aspie. One thing I hate as both is dystopian, Puritan-style Political Correctness. Being able to laugh at ourselves is good for the soul; it keeps narcissism at bay.

^ you are a logical nightmare

I will now not be able to sleep trying to reconcile "I am a redneck Aspie who likes to laugh at him/herself as a way of keeping narcissism at bay" in my mind.

I'm not sure what your problem is. Is it ethnic hatred against rednecks? A dislike for aspies? Or an inability to comprehend people who don't always wish to take themselves so seriously? If you can come up with an intelligent answer, you will have my full and undivided attention.
