Do you have a diagnosis of PTSD? If not, then you might have one coming up. It's tough, but you will survive. Hang in there. *hugs*

P.S., That post you made about the Anime Myths really helped me out. I'm developing an interest about manga and anime, and those posts were really interesting. Thank you. :)
Thanks for the hugs I needed that Im sorry for feeling down I just get this way every year during this season.

My issues come and go, depending on the situation. If it's something that has happened in the past, I practically relive the memory in my head--I get similar emotions and then lose control of myself. It could very well be PTSD in your case. Have you spoken to a psychologist or psychiatrist about it?

I have not I just kind of shut my self in from the world for long periods of time instead shrinks cost a lot of money and they would most likely tell me I have PTSD and try and prescribe me with anitdepreseants or some s**t.

Well, you do have PTSD, have you tried going to a therapist who specialises in helping people with PTSD? You don't have to go on medication if you don't want to.

Here's a exercise to try the next time when you get a flashback

Embrace it. Feel yourself fully in that situation - you have left a piece of yourself back there and this is why you are getting flashbacks - the bits of you are trying to reunite with the rest of you, so you have to let them.

Imagine that the bits of you left back there in the memory are made of air or light and as you relieve the memory inhale deeply through your nose moving your head slowly from left to right (incoming to outgoing) and then hold the breath for 3 then exhale through your mouth as you move your head from right to left (symbolically cutting off your connection with that memory). At the same time you exhale, send the bits of the other person that had stayed with you, back to them.

You may need to do this several times over the course of time but you should notice that each time the emotions get let severe until all that remains is a memory without emotional charge.

Edit: to add detail to the breathing exercise to make sure it's done right

Ill try that next time it happens I already forgive myself, it just sucks when it happens and negative thoughts manifest into my head and I had to fight them. I usually shut myself in from everyone for a while so they dont see me crying, I dont cry very often except when these flashbacks happen.

Well good news my flashback cycle has come to an end for this year and good riddince. Hopefully next years will be less frequent as the prior slowly they are and I forgive myself. I cannot undue the past but I forgive myself for allowing myself to be in such a situation and I must move forward! We all have our demons and must fight them and not allow them to consume us leaving us into eternal darkness.
