Advice needed
ya my son came along i was nervous but i had decided that i wont fear
my manager was there rest of my colleagues and project head etc were on leave
some forms were filled and then manager gave me a form asking for feedback about
working in that organisation
The first question was reason for leaving the organisation
there were 5-6 options one of the options were
Unsatisfied with the immediate superiors and managers
i circled that option
there was a questionnaire with ratings
Regular feeback and guidance is given - i rated unsatisfactory
Managers and Heads are supportive - again i rated unsatisfactory
for some areas i gave good as rating
then a question was would you like to join back the organisation
i circled the NO option
the H.R manager called me for a discussion about the feedback
i gave him frank reply saying that i was unsatisfied with the
behaviour of the Project Head. he heard me welll and finally asked
me where i will go to work after this place i said i will be at home
he was surprised
i will have to go back again someday since the payment release
part is remaining the finance guy was on leave and end of May that guy may come back
I have no complaints i understand i am weak in communication and interpersonal skills
and had become more of liability then asset
so thats how the tombstone as been laid down on my career
Namaste
Started 2001- Terminated 2014
Died of suffocation
Thanks for asking

Well at least they asked you for feedback, not too many places will do that. And feedback from my experience does actually work to change things sometimes, even if very slow. Don't worry about losing the job so much, a lot of people have had to go through that. Its not something that was working out for you. The fact that you worked there for 3 years means that they did value your work there, just maybe you encountered negative people that ruined your chances to stay there.
i think honest feedback helps they may even think i was negative
i took their feedback in positive manner and decided not to continue working
but its not my work which is pathetic buts its my body language
the lack of eye contact, lack of smile, depressive behaviour
i cant change it
so might as well live with it alone

Well it sounds like you got through it in the end
If you're worried about your body language and mannerisms, facial expressions etc there are things you can do. If you have a video camera or if you can afford one you can practice small talk and introductions with your husband and watch it back on screen. Pick out the things you don't like and practice until you're happy with what you see on video.
