Cow Kitty is good at hiding. Every-time I think I've figured out all of her hiding spots she finds a new on and I am looking for her for an hour.

We think our cat, Britney, might have died. She came home the other day and seemed very strange. We were going to call the vet today but somehow she got out of the house. We aren't sure if she is coming back.

Ahhh...i'm glad Mr. Spud's allright :D
We had a cat yrs ago we named Mr. Bones cause he was a big cat but just skin and bones when he started hanging around our porch. It's pretty near impossible to keep a cat inside once they are used to being outside.

Gopher was an outside cat and he got in a fight and lost one of his eyes so he couldn't go outside so my grandfather spent a few hundred dollars to build him a chicken wire cage so he could go outside safely.

Thank you, for kindness is most appreciated.

I looked all around the house for her yesterday, but could not find her. I went outside several times and called her name without success. I kind of resigned myself to the fact I would not see her again. At about 7pm my parents got home. At around 8:30 I went to the store to get some things. When I got back, they have managed to find Britney. She had been in a behind the coach in a spot I somehow I had forgotten to check. I felt kinda bad about that. She was moving around pretty slowly and wasn't interested in anyone it seemed. My step-mother said she thought she had a broken or dislocated hip. I watched her for a long while until my step-mother took her son over (he originally owned the cat) to take her to the vet. My step-mom said not to expect her to return.

I didn't go with them. I guess I could have asked, but I didn't. Britney didn't look very good, and emotionally I didn't think it was necessarily a good idea (also my relations with my step-mom and her son are somewhat difficult). After they left I got more emotional then I thought. I didn't cry or anything like when our two dogs died, but I trouble keeping my emotions in check for a little bit.

It turned out she had feline leukemia, so they had to put her down. It's sad, but she did have a good life (including two litters of kittens).

Sorry to hear about Britney, Jimservo. It is sad when they have to go because we get very fond of them don't we? But at least you know it would have been, for Britney, just like going to sleep and that she had a good life and was well-treated. It helps to know that, even if we miss them being around. You will have happy memories of her, I'm sure.

I'm glad that you and your cat are reunited. :)
