Internet Bullying
Just because someone says they have AS it doesn't f*****g mean they are using it as an exuse for anything
! !! !! Anyways it's typical for NT scum to look for exuses to hate aspies so if they see "I have Asperger's syndrome" on anyone's profile of course they're gonna go lyYYKK oMgZzZ uR uZiNg dAt aZ N eXuzE 2 b nOt lYk mE!!111!! !! !! It's the NTs who are making up exuses here!! They will look for any exuse to hate anyone who is not like them, even if it's accusing others of making up exuses for things!! ! And as I said before, if anyone says they have AS in their profile, they're NOT using it as an exuse for anything, just to tell people that they're different and if other people don't like it, then tough!!
Sorry if I seem incoherent, I'm too angry to think straight.

^ This doesn't mean that all people who claim to have AS are like this, and I'm not saying that anyone on this forum are like that at all.
But nowdays it's fashionable for teenagers to claim they have every condition under the book. One local girl I know claimed to have AS yet she DIDN'T even know what AS is - she tried to BS her way and tell me it's "Like Bi-Polar, but worse"
She's your typical attention whore, sending messages that she'll kill herself/tell everyone she cuts herself/makes up sob stories on how she was "almost raped" etc.
I would laugh, and laugh, and laugh if someone did that to me.
I'd send links to my ebuddies and show how obsessed these people are with me that they go to all this trouble just to piss me off. And I'd put up logs of the conversations.
I kind of get a kick out of when people hate me with no real reason.
But then, I don't expect nor demand that others do the same. The fact of the matter is that you got attacked and it's disgusting. Now matter how pathetic it is that others are doing it and are deserving of mockery.
Those types certainly seem like the kind of immature selfish bastards that our culture is breeding. (It's not like they need a lot of help to come into existence)
It's just not right.

And that made no sense to me.
Sorry if I seem incoherent, I'm too angry to think straight.
I have said in my myspace profile that I have AS, NOT for pity or attention but just to let other people know I have it, and if they can accept it then great, and if they can't they can get lost!

The comments they left on my Sheezy page are how I noticed it even exhisted. The comments in themselves are nasty and the Sheezy people pretend they aren't there no matter how often I tell them to do something about them. I'm just quoting what these people said:

If someone wrote something like this to me, I´d just laugh at them for their immaturity (especially if they´re in college) and get on with my life. I´ve been through WAY worse bullying than this and I´ve still made through it. Of course they may be annoying to some people, but you should just ignore them no matter what. That way they won´t get what they´re looking for, attention.

Some people do use their diabilities as an excuse for ill behavior or a way to skirt responsilibity of their actions away from themselves.
The way I see it, we are all responsible for our own actions no matter WHAT we do or do not have. If you piss someone off because you didn't catch on their subtleties, because you have AS. It -is- still your fault. Sure, you didn't mean to. Sure, your AS caused it. But it's still your responsibility. At that juncture you can say "Don't be upset, I have AS." Thus using your disability as an excuse to not be responsible for your actions.
Conversely, you could say "Sorry, I didn't mean to piss you off. I have trouble with social situations like this because of a disorder, but I'm working on getting better."
One puts the blame on the offended for -being- offended, one takes responsibility for the action, apologizes, -and- explains the cause.
You might say that this philosophy means that people with disabilities have to work and try and fight harder than normal people just to get the same results. Yes, yes that's exactly what it means, that's why it's called a disability. How does one expect to be respected for having to fight against a dibilitating disorder if one instead expects everybody else to just put up with it? You can't be respected if you don't at least try to get over and solve your problems. Don't expect others to pick up your slack, and then use Asperger's Syndrome as your excuse. In fact, don't use AS as an excuse for anything.
Work hard, try, learn to aleviate and live with your symptoms and to manage and control them rather than making other people learn to put up with your negative quirks. This is the right way. This is my opinion, and I live by it. Don't just accept your disability. Fight it and win.
