So you're losing your eyesight as in going blind? If so that's really sad :( .

There are ways to treat anemia, no cure though. Iron supplements combined vitamin C is good for mild anemia.

That's terrible news :( My vision is terrible as it is, I can only imagine how you must feel being at risk losing it altogether

There are so many things out there that might just have a chance of helping though, never stop hunting for something to prevent you losing your vision.

But if it comes to it, know that there are plenty of lovely people out there who will support you if you need it...your own body being one of them. It's amazing how one can survive in the absense of one primary sense. You can still be creative, use a computer, communicate with those around you anywhere... :)

Anemia though is easily treatable, thank goodness.

Don't forget the strength of the mind - willpower can overcome so many obstacles, or make things happen. Believe you will lose your vision, and you will. Know that you can avert it happening, and there's a far higher chance your body will save itself.

Much luff for you <3 You're a strong gal and I know you can make it through this. You have all of us here at WP, at the very least!

Even if they are unable to save your eyesight: you will still matter as a human being.

Hopefully, like these guys said, you'll be able to recover your eyesight at least to some degree.

This is very inappropriate. I can't think of anything else to say. You are FTW.

SpaceCase: I'm partially sighted but I've never known any different as I've always had it. The main things I have to watch for is little obstacles and trying to remember and then find objects. Obviously the more serious your possible loss will be the more difficult you will find these things but you'd be amazed at how much you can do without your eyes if you put your mind to it. I have known people who are pretty much totally blind. They find it tough but they still manage to rub along in life and get things done. Don't give up just yet. There's still a chance you will retain some of your vision.

Now you just hang in there, alright? Good girl. ;)

Anemia can be fixed, I've had it for a while.

But that's TERRIBLE about your vision. I'm really sorry. That would be horrible.. I really hope there will be a way you can keep it or get it back. I hope technologiy advances more in the near future. :(

I'm into alternative medicine and I've heard that some acupuncturist can treat blindness with their needles...you have to find the ones who really have the talent, or knows how to treat blindness, as it doesn't seem like a usual skill...I'll let you know if I find out anything...

I´m SO sorry to hear that :(. Anemia isn´t that bad, my mom had that but it healed eventually. Loss of vision hoverer... That´s something that you really don´t want to lose. Are you 100% sure nothing can be done? If you are, then try to enjoy your vision as long as you have it.

If you know the name of the condition, you could look up medical journal articles at www.pubmed.com - that way if there is some experimental treatment or something like that, you can try to get into a clinical trial. Or if there is only a handful of places in the country that can deal with it, you can try to go there.

Awww. That's horrible. To lose your eyesight over time is really devastating, and Anaemia on top of that must be even more so. I hope things get better for you. and that you don't lose your eyesight. Well,I think that you should enjoy vision as much as possible while you still have it. It's something most people take for granted. I hope you don't become blind.
