I was given that advice by a serious girl my age who is respected by everyone and doesn't take any crap. In fact the only people who ever encouraged me to get into the game are my parents. Everybody else says I'm a pathetic loser who was never meant to exist in the first place. I was classmates with a right-wing extremist who called me an error of the human genome. This speaks a thousand words about my abysmal situation, so it's no wonder I've lost all traces of self esteem.

That's what I meant about them not caring about you - you're patents do.

I'm glad they genuinely love me, other aspies are hated by their parents.

I hate spell checkers on phones. You all know what I meant. (I'm tired of having to spell check my spell checker.) :x

Be glad your parents are supportive of you, KyleKatarn. Your so-called friends do not. Avoid right wing extremists. He probably believes in eugenics and in eliminating those who he thinks are not pure perfect Aryan blood.

There's no reason you can't meet a girl who likes you. I've sen some unlikely people get girls and also some unlikely girls getting the guy. After I came out as gay I never thought I'd find someone compatible and who cared for me, but I did, against the odds.

So hang in there and don't listen to naysayers who are trying to boost their own egos by belittling others.

Dude, you need to start your own thread in The Haven (sarcasm). I understand feeling sorry for yourself for a small time is ok, but don't wallow in self-pity - it'll only take you down. Whoever gave you that advice does not care one iotta about you and I would steer clear of them.

It's common advice given to worthless men. I even see s version of it here. "Concentrate on your hobbies"

My ex best friend would constantly tell me no girl will ever date me.

Best friend - I'm glad to see an "ex" in front of that.

You don't need that sort of "friends" in your life.

Like all of my threads, this may offend some people. But please see the bigger picture.

When I was younger, I was unaware of how I acted made others feel about me nor did I really care that much. My 18, 19, and part of my 20 year old mentality was I just simply didn't give a f**k what others thought. But I was also unaware of how cocky, arrogant, self centered, and autistic I appeared to others. You see, seeing how I make others feel has never been my strong suit. And honestly, I never knew I was coming off to others as autistic. In my mind, I had no clue why I was even autistic at all. I mean, i'm not some uncoordinated anime lover who has no interest in others. I'm a sporty extroverted pop loving and just wanna f**k a pretty girl like any other nt men does. And my line of thought in my mid and late teens was, why am I even associated with autistics? I'm better then these losers. I don't come off as autistic at all, why am I even autistic at all?

But then I found out the cold hard truth.

The truth is I do come off as autistic. Sometimes all it takes is watching yourself interacting with other people from a third person point of view. I found out this June when my mother told me as we were driving to camp. And it changed EVERYTHING. Why do you think every job I have they treat me as less then equal, why I can't get a girlfriend, why they treat me like I can't do anything? Because i'm autistic. AND I HATE IT! I'll never get a girlfriend ever because I can't hide it. And you know why I hate being autistic? Because autism is synonymous with a nerd, a virgin, SSI bound, unsuccessful, less then equal. Out of all of the autistics iv'e known, not one of them. Not one, was good with women and had a pretty gf. All of them are the same to me. And you know what doesn't f*****g help? All of these stupid f*****g statistics saying unemployment rate for autistic is very high. That's some negative s**t right there.

They disrespect me they treat me like s**t, women never give me a chance and now I know the truth. It's because i'm autistic.

And I can't have it, I was born to crave power, respect, and love.

I hope these neurotypical assfucks enjoy themselves getting into relationships, f*****g doggystyle, and f*****g in the shower because thats something I never have.

Phantom out

You don't seem to be aware of the existence of autistic women in this post. Autistic women have many of the same struggles as you and feel very similarly about life and relationships. Perhaps if you tried to relate to autistic women who share some of your struggles you might find some worthwhile wisdom and experience with people and you might end up less bitter about what you think you're missing out on. Basically, there is a wellspring of potential sympathy and understanding among autistic women that you are not recognising the value of.

Being a middle aged woman sucks. I was just reading this thread in sympathy, when I got to this ^ part. Why is it older women are the butt of everything these days. I was just at my dealers (weed) and he was being visited by his young female neighbour (both in their '20s.) I got my stuff and left because I know my company is worthless. As I was waiting for the elevator I heard my friend (the young guy) say ... "I know, all of them are like 135 years old." And they laughed. They may or may not have been referring to me, but it's as likely as not that they were.

Anyway, I can't think of anything more worthless to be than a single middle aged woman with no family or children. I think the next thing I will ask my young friend to get me is a pistol.

Cmon! Why would you let the comments of idiot drug dealers affect you?

I happen to KNOW that older woman are vital, sexual creatures in need of sustenance and release, just like young whippersnappers.

Because they resonated. And there's nothing wrong with dealing weed. It will be legal in Canada soon. I'm not sure when it happened that I got old. He had these tacky cushions from the discount store. Original Star Wars images... he wasn't even born when I saw that movie in the theatre. Yet it is his now. My experience decayed.

Yeah, but it's more than sex kraftie. It's about belonging.

With regard the whole autism outsider issue (so as not to derail the thread,) it's so true. There is just something that autistic people cannot tap into. I feel sometimes, written off, as if there is something vital that I cannot understand.

Yeah...I saw Star Wars in the theatre when I was 16. And they didn't....pity on them!

And I know it's about "belonging" and not merely about sex. I'm not that shallow!

If somebody wants to denigrate my age---and they don't even know me--let them! How can they know me? How can they know what I've experienced? They're talking out of their butts. They don't know what they're talking about. And that's a fact.

I'm not going to let the comments of a few idiots ruin my day.

And you shouldn't, either. Because they don't know you.

LOL...you shouldn't be vexed by me now.

Those people are strangers. They are also probably unsavory types.

And they don't know you. They want to be b*****s, and laugh at you.

And you're allowing them to do that.

I happen to know...that if you meet the right person, that your company would not be "worthless." I'm pretty certain of this.

If I met you, I'd enjoy your company. And I don't enjoy everybody's company.
