it's honestly over-rated. it has it's fun moments, we just sit there for 2-3 hours and BS while drinking s**t beer. it's relaxing and it gets you outside.. and if you're not catching anything, the adrenaline rush when you do is actually nice. otherwise, you kind of just sit there staring at the water. unless you're really into it, tv >

Last I've been involved in any fishing activity was almost 12 years ago. Best vacation ever. Holding a live fish for the first time is a bit icky. Too bad I lost that hilarious picture of an 8 year-old me holding a wiggling fish by it's tail.

And swimming in salt water with eyes open are strongly NOT recommended. Seriously, that hurts.


As for the social code, it can be triggered by several factors. From by simply walking with something noticeably new, to something drastic like drama or attention seeking. Both expects the same thing: compliments.

In a figurative sense I thought fishing meant looking for someone to date.

As for literal fishing I haven't been in over 10 years. You need a license to go fishing here. I used to enjoy it, but there's not all that many good catches left in the estuary, it's overfished, unless you get on a charter boat and go out to sea.
