I've said all I can think to. I'll still listen, but I can't really say further without hearing further.

the way i see it it can only be a major problem if you let it become one .... if theres s**t about your behavior you dont like then try and change it ..... and if you cant f**k the world they can deal with it

im not gonna try and stop you in my opinion its your choice, the way i see it the afterlife has as good a chance of being better as it dose of being worse (seeing as all we know is that people dont come back so there is an infinite amount of possibility's)
hell i would have killed myself when i was 7 except i didnt think my family would be able to deal with it

have you got msn man ... i need more people to talk to too dokken23@hotmial.com

You're gonna have to trust us, it gets better. I'm 19, and trust me when I say that at 16 everything is hell. Not only is AS making this crap, you have the hormones in your body, the pricks at school and everything else.

And you're right, AS never goes away, but that doesn't mean it doesn't get easier over time. Every time you talk to someone, watch people talk, listen to people, you slowly build up your knowledge and understanding of how it all works. You improve over time. But it will take time and a positive attitude.

Suicide is a waste when you have so much more of life to experience and (trust me) enjoy. Please be patient, and talk to us in the mean time.

There’s not a minute that moves when I don’t think of sticking myself; there’s not a minute that falls that I don’t juggle a knife…I’m still here.

No words are needed when we deal with absolutes, you’re either here or you’re not; because we know…we know that no words will change how we feel.

We’re looking for answers, that’s why we seek help; when we ask for it explicitly or not…we know that no one will give us the answer that we want. The answer doesn’t exist.

We want others to see...not feel, no..., just to see the pain we feel within because we're unable to show it any other way; through words, body language and/or actions. But again, we know that they'll never see our pain how we feel it...we still wish it known that we do indeed feel, and suicide is a tangible action that everyone recognizes.

This post and the other one; you're showing us emotion...that's a good thing. :)

I think of suicide all the time.

But, my mum's stopping me not in a physical way, but in a mental way. She is the only one who properly cares for me, she had the decency to research AS, when I was diagnosed, understands me, and is my agony aunt.

Without her, I would of thrown myself in front of a train by now.

If not suicide, I've been recently contemplating self-harm, as I now suddenly want to inflict pain on myself, as I've been so used to it.

I can't believe that I've missed this thread.

Whatever you do, don't take your own life. You have so much to live for.

When is the last time you talked to your psychiatrist? He would be alot better trained at
dealing with suicide prevention than nameless, faceless ,unaccountable people you meet
on the internet. You said he recommended sertaline so hopefully you will take his advice.
