I would guess that all this also causes diarrhea, too.

I hope he can now get a wheelchair, and some kind of room for people with chronic diseases, with a bathroom in the room.

I gather that bowel incontinence is a side effect of the CHF. I was surprised to read that. Disposable underwear would help with confidence. A wheeled walker with a seat and handbrakes might be better than a wheelchair. Walking will help reduce fluid buildup. Also, sitting too long may cause sores and gangrene issues could increase. (Ive used both walker and wheelchair).

...I made a response which , nearly finished , this phone ate (SOB) .
A wheeled walker forces me to crouch , bend over , not stretch my skeleton , and it doesn't exactly meet uniform flatness and smoothness on a city street .

If properly fitted the walker will make you stand straight, not crouched. I had a really good therapist set mine up. The ones meant for outdoor use have larger tires, not hard plastic wheels. Trust me! Ive gone for long walks on country roads and downtown sidewalks.

Hopefully, he'll get good rehab there.

And a wheelchair. And a decent room afterwards.

Thanks for informing us.

prego :) I hope he gets better than a wheelchair, decent orthotics so he can at least be ambulatory. or definitive treatment for his diabetes so the gangrene will stop.

Double prego. Of course orthotics, and the definitive treatment.

Im sorry to hear about the amputations. My mother couldn't manage her diabetes on her own and had surgery on her feet. She used to get sores and gangrene spots on her legs. She ultimately lost her sight because of it.

Im glad hes in care for now. Maybe they can help with his continence issues too. If he is in a wheelchair, it will be awkward to get up quickly when he needs to. Hope he has wifi where he is!

...This is me , now , on Thursday ayem , I am still in the hospital , delays happened , allegedly I may be in later to-day .
The amputations AB posted about are the same ones I posted about earlier in this line , I have not had a second set , I just verbally told AB of it on the chance he had not read .the earlier postiings .
. I I did have  two more toes off of my right foot and additional flesh up that foot :( .
S Granted , I need recovery from the amputation , and at least it's something . The SS people do seem to still be operating from a standpoint of the crappie SRO as" my place " . The recovery place has not been described as anything else but temporary .

I prayed for you specially in church this Holy Thursday.
You definitely need a good place to stay,
I am hoping for the best.

...Now , Monday past 5 A.M. , I have been in my room in this nursing place essentially continuously since late Friday afternoon , in a bed .
There's a TV and I do have this rather difficult cellphone and , as of right now , I can get WiFi , but that appears to be rather oddball good luck of running into a big company's Free Wotion , it seems it's temporary and may be gone in a couple of days ! :P
I have this soaking-up-moisture thing applied to the massive wound on my right foot where the 2 toes + flesh were removed  , underneath the bandages...

ASS-P left me a phone message, he said in the nursing home he is in, there is no Wi-Fi or internet access of any kind, so he will be incommunicado in terms of posting on WP for a while, he doesn't know how long but seemed resigned to a long while in there until he heels sufficient to be let out. he expressed concern that in the last public shelter he was staying at before his sudden hospitalization, the staff and others there took his few possessions and did lord knows what with them.
